The development of the game itself is complete and functional. If the SW render is an issue - how was in handled in the MAEMO port - don't know.ģ. From what I read up on, it runs on an N900 - which would be 800x480 - which happens to match.Ģ. It's available as compiled ARM or source code for MAEMO. SuperTux 2 on the other hand is great fun.ġ. Would any of the compile/PND wizards out there be willing to make a PND this great game? Where should I really be starting on this? How are you guys getting proper version C++ compiler resources set up so you can actually compile stuff? I love having the NAND as a backup OS - very cool feature. The errors that I was getting dealt with version mismatches and then a complete lock up that wouldn't reboot (not from the SD anyway). So, I downloaded a bunch of C compiler bits using OPKG (I'm running the OS from a 32GB SDHC) and to make a whole day's work of crashing and recoving my Pandora's OS short - I didn't get far enough to even try to compile anything. It already exists on MAEMO for the Nokia ARM tablets - so it should be doable. You have to note that in this test it is in best case scenario because if you have things going on in the back, i.e.OK, since there was no movement on this great game, I thought I'd take a crack at it. If you run on 2G it should be about double this so around 7 hours 30 min to be optimistic! (Much lower than the 9 hours I read on the Maemo forum) So if I factor in things like me constantly checking the phone to see the battery level, and taking screen shots, I think I could have squeezed about 5 or so more min out of it so I’d say talk time estimate to be about 3 hours and 40 minutes on 3G! (Much lower than the 5 hours I read on the Maemo forum) Note: I realised that I had a system monitor running which drains a lot of battery, so without that it should last a lot longer! ![]() It got to 3 hours and 30 minutes in and it was still going but then about 4 to 5 minutes later it switched off! At about 3 hours and 18 minutes, the “Battery Low” warning showed up for the first time and the level turned red so I knew it was on its last legs!! ![]() Ok so as you can see the battery started dropping a bit quicker after 2 hours were up. Nothing done on the phone except screenshots every hour or so or when there is a significant change. ![]()
